This is the wonderful new CodaBow Joule. This bow is very stable and even from end to end. It has a great feel, and looks good too! The Joule was originally developed for extended range instruments like five-string violins that have a viola C string, and so it pulls power from the lower ranges while still giving the needed subtlety and color in the upper ranges. This is a design and feel that could only be done with carbon fiber, and it is a bold innovation by the CodaBow company and their designers.
